David had his very first band concert this week. It was really good. I am always surprised by these Intermediate teachers. They have to teach every instrument to these kids who have never played them before and then make it sound good. It's quite an amazing feat. His band teacher is Mr. Nielson. Since Ben decided to not play this year, David is using his trumpet. It's really sad that they have to choose between band only or a bunch of other fun classes. For example, if you take band then you don't have enough class periods to take choir, art, or theater. And if you are in the middle school then you also can't take Spanish. I wish they could do them all!
David did a great job. We are very proud of him. He practiced at home almost everyday getting ready for the concert. Good job DAVID!
