More Basketball

So this week we only had basketball games.  Monday David was throwing up his shoelaces and there was no school so Ben and Josh headed to the slopes for the day and I stayed hoe from work with David.  On Saturday David had a game against all of his friends, T.J., Taiven, Teysen and Ceedar.  David's team killed them by 20 points.  It was a fun friendly game though.  They all had fun.  Then we left David to go to Teysen's birthday party and we took Shayne, Josh and Ben and drove up to Cedar in the SNOW!  Because Ben had a tournament up there.  It was AWESOME!  Cedar has only gotten snow twice and both times it has dumped at least a foot on them.  It was so great!  I was in HEAVEN!
 Cedar Snow!
Ben's first game we won by 30 points.  It was crazy.  We were so glad that coach Shaw was actually coaching us instead of the High School kids.  I'm glad he could get a good look at how well Ben actually plays.

This was our 2nd game and we won it by 20!

This was out 3rd game and we won by about 10.
This team was from Canyon View.  They were bigger, more aggressive boys.
This was the foul that took Ben out.  This kid kneed him so hard in the the thigh that it dead legged him.  He was almost in tears.  He had to walk it off.  He also got a bloody nose from this team later.  They were beasts.  But we still beat them.
Luckily he got some free throws from it.  Ben was 100% on his Free Throws!
This was on the other end after the half.  After they fouled Ben, AGAIN!  It's a good thing he can put those in.  Ben did a great job and I personally am so proud of him for keeping his cool and not getting frustrated.  He did a great job!

I need to move back here!  Best tasting snow on earth!  This picture of Josh is just an added bonus picture.  He came home from work this way.  Yep.  I'm so proud.
As we were leaving Cedar City I got a call from David saying that he thinks he broke his nose.  For the birthday party they went to this new Indoor Parkour Park.  It has a bunch of obstacle to jump over and then one long trampoline that ends in a foam pit.  So you are supposed to do flips into it.  You are not supposed to knee yourself in the nose when you land however.  So he got a bloody nose and started to cry, a little bit.  Well, so much for being excited that my kids will get Joel's perfect nose.  Well, they got it but they just can't care of nice things!  Little TURDS!  Now 4 out of 5 of my kids have broken their perfect noses.  Hopefully, when the swelling goes down, it will look alright.
