Starting off the swim season right.

Shayne once again amazed me as she broke her own person record in the 100 Butterfly (1:07.15) and 100 Breaststroke (1:19.50) in her first High School meet of the year. She also had a personal best time of 28.4 seconds in her 50 butterfly in the medley relay and she went a 58.02 in the 400 yard freestyle relay but I'm not sure if that's a record for her or not. This will be a great year because as a Junior Shayne is the team captain and Joel and I are the team parents. We love all of the swimmers from Pine View, Desert Hills and Hurricane and know them all by name. They are truly amazing kids who support each other and are kind to everyone. Here are some pictures that Brianne Gentry, another swimmer, took for us. They are way better than my little camera can take. We so excited for this season and are grateful to be a part of it.

That is stinkin' awesome! Way to go Shayne!

I've been reading through your posts and it sounds like we had similar head colds. I was down for like two weeks. It was terrible.
