October is always a busy month for things like this. Luke turned 8 and was baptized. Taye turned 12 and was ordained a Deacon and Josh turned 16 and was ordained a Priest. And because their birthdays are so close together is was Luke on Saturday and Taye and Josh on Sunday. James came on Saturday. It was so good to see him. Luke is such a cute kid. Always smiling.
Sunday we did Josh's ordination at our church at 11:15am. We had Joel, Brad, Kyle, Grandpa Beckstrand, Jared, John and Brian, along with Brother Kahanu, Brother Mike Allen, Brother Jackson and Brother Wilson in the circle. We had it up on the stage because there were over 60 in attendance because we do it in the quorum. So, all of the young men and the leaders were there as well as the rest of our family. Right after we hurried and left to get over to Brian's ward because their ward got over at noon and they were ordaining Taye then. So I wasn't able to take a picture because everyone scattered. But I took this picture after Taye's. Taye was ordained by these 5 and John. John and Taye both took off before I could catch them. Taye went to do Fast Offerings for the first time. He was really excited. Because Josh was already ordained a Priest he was able to stand in to help ordain Taye. It was really neat.
