Joel and about 20 of the kids and staff from his school were running in
the Color Me Rad 5 K. It is a fun run where they give you a white shirt
and sunglasses and throw dry paint at you as you run by. Sophie and
Shayne had talked about doing it but one of the high school swim meets
fell on that date so they never signed up. Well, a week before the
race, the meet was changed and we found out they still could
sign up. That morning on the way to work I heard the radio station doing a contest giving away 2
entries. So, I called up and WON! It was a freezing cold Saturday
morning when they ran and Ben and David complained the whole time. But
Joel, Shayne and Sophie had the time of their lives.
