Joel's 45th!

Joel turned 45 this year which is significant because that means he moves up to the next age bracket in the Ironman and all other races.  He got some fun things from everyone and the tradition every year is that the kids give him a card filled with enough money to register for the marathon.  The problem is when we started doing that the registration cost was only $60.  9 years later it has gone up quite a bit.  But still a great present for him.  He went down to the marathon headquarters at lunch and signed up.

This was probably the best present.  He can roll his sore muscles out after the Ironman.

More compression socks and biking shorts.

New clothes that have nothing to do with running.  Happy Birthday Joel!  We love you!
