Thankful 13 2017

Thanksgiving morning we have this tradition of running the Thankful 13.  Some of us do the 5k and the others do the half marathon.  Either way it's a fun family activity and we get some exercise before we stuff ourselves with food all day long.
 High Fives!
There were over 1200 people signed up for the Half Marathon and over 1800 people signed up for the 5K!
It looked like the Boston Marathon.  So.Many.People!
I was surprised to see the Family Search headquarters building.  It was really nice!
Of course Shayne and I came in after George, Ben and David BUT, we did not come in last.  We beat over 500 people.  Hahaha!
The signs were great.  I had to take a picture of the Nothing Bundt Cakes sign because David thought the announcer said, "Nothing butt cakes".  So he said, "What are Butt Cakes and do they come in chocolate?"  Then he laughed his head off at his own joke.
I had to take a picture of this cute little girl in her Pumpkin Pie hat.  It was adorable.
Josh came in right before 2 hours.  He did great.  I wans't surprised that he had his shirt off.  It was warm.  No snow anywhere and it was hotter than it was in St. George that day.  Weird.
Then these two finally came in.  They took forever!  Joel wasn't feeling very well the night before so they took it easy and just walked half of it.
We stood in a huge line to take this picture and everyone was ready except George.  But we finally got a good one at the end.
This is what the shirt and medals look like.  The shirts didn't have thumb holes this year but they did give us gloves to compensate for it.  But it was so hot that no one wore them.

We all had a great time.  Another one in the books!
