George's Graduation and the Cabin Grad Party

Dixie High School graduated on Wednesday May 23rd @ 1pm.   Grandma and Grandpa Shelton came down for it.  We were there as well as Brad and Ashley and kids.  It was nice and short!  George played the bells with the band for one of the songs. Josh showed up later than the rest of us so he and Ben had to find their own seats.  I found them.  They had great seats for yelling at everyone before they went through the D to graduate.
One huge difference between George and Josh is that George is super social and Josh is NOT.  I think George shook every single person's hand on the way back down to his seat whether they wanted to or not.  I think this guy was the janitor.
And after they graduated he hugged everyone.
Probably more girls than boys too!
George looking for us.  Shielding his eyes from the sun.
JoEllen was trying to get him to come up to get a picture with the family but he kept running into everyone that wanted to get a picture with him.  Most popular kid on campus.  Extrovert.
This girl was Crae Crae.  She was totally crying.
 A different girl.
We finally got him outside long enough to get a picture.
Then we headed up to the cabin for food and fun!  JoEllen and I made cupcakes.
Hers were blue coconut with a fondant graduation scroll.  Mine were red velvet with cream cheese, White with Chocolate frosting and a paw print made from a Jr. Mint and 4 M & M mini's, and a Cherry Chip cake with chocolate frosting with silver spray on it.  They were all super yummy!
JoEllen and gifts for the 2 graduates to open.  She had crocheted Josh a Pine View Maroon and Black scarf for his mission and made George a t-shirt quilt.

This little girl was too cute. She wanted to roast a marshmallow so bad.  So JoEllen helped her.
Henry on the other hand was a pro!
It was a great night.  Thanks so much to JoEllen for making it all possible!
