Josh's Graduation

Josh's Graduation was Thursday May 24th @ 1pm.  It was very different from Dixie's.  Dixie's was more like a bunch of high schoolers excited to get the crap out of there.  Pine Views was a bunch of high schoolers that were sad to be leaving but proud of what they had accomplished as a school and as a family.   They were both very good.  It was interesting to see Josh vs George after the graduation.  Riley Allen hunted Josh down and took a picture with him.  That was pretty much it. Maybe a couple other soccer buddy's.  But Josh is NOT social.  In fact this is the 3rd year in a row that no one has signed his year book.  Introvert. 

 

 

 

 

 Lane Riley and the Jaxton Keeler were both in the Bell Ringer Class and they played a beautiful song.

 Uncle Brad is 3 for 3.  Every Pine View graduation he's been to he's fallen asleep in.  We even commented in George's how well he stayed awake.  I guess ours is just to solemn.

 YEAY!!!  He did it!

 Here was everything that he wore.  Shayne made him a lei out of Ironman Swim capos in the color that he wore. then he wore the 4 ropes that he earned.  Red - for giving blood 4 times during the school years.  Blue & Yellow - FFA, Silver - High Honor Grades, Red, White & Blue - Eagle Scout.  Then his cap that he painted and his bow tie and goggles.  Then his 4 important medals.  His Ironman, 2 St. George Marathon, and his Spartan race medal.  Then his lei that I got him over top of it all.

After graduation Grandpa took us out to Golden Coral and then that night Pine View did an AMAZING thing for Grad Night...they rented out Fiesta Fun!  From 10pm-4am they had the entire place to themselves.  Josh said that they had a great time but wished they had more time there because he didn't even get to golf or do lazer tag because he was so busy.  That is a successful night!

 When they checked in they got a t-shirt and chap stick and their name put in for a drawing. 

 I didn't help out this year.  They didn't need as many volunteers.  But our friend Malinda Prior did.  I felt good knowing she was there. Josh said he had a great time.
