Ben's Rugby vs Herriman

To Herriman we go!  The boys were worried about playing Herriman because we lost to them in the playoffs last year.  It was a close game and the boys were super sad.  So this year they were out for revenge!   Well, at least Ben was.  I just have to saw that the parents were horrible.  I couldn't believe hoe rude they were.  It's a shame that they have to be that way.  The boys played hard and came up short.  But they now know what they need to do to beat them at state.  David took this picture of Suene.  He, Kiel Lambson, and Drew Boatright are their coaches.  Ben idolizes Suene.
Here is one of Ben's kicks.  He didn't start the game and we kidded after the game that that's why they lost.  You don't mess with tradition.  Athletes are very superstitious.
This is him getting some last minute tips from coach Kiel.
Drop kick to start the 2nd half.
 An excellent tackle!
 Look of determination!
I think this kid was on his way down and Ben just helped him.
Ben taking off with the ball.
 Another good kick!
This was him getting up after being on the bottom of a pile of 15 guys trying to score and trying to keep the other team from scoring.
At least it wasn't a blow out.  Like what we did to Olympus.  This weekend we play United at home.  We are not worried about this game.  It will be fun.  Ben does want to go kick some more before then.  They moved practice to the Bluff street park so it would be closer for us but they don't have any conversion posts.  I'll take him down to the high school and let him practice on the football field.
Pep talk from the coaches before they get on the bus and head back to St. George.
